See 6 stunning Glacier National Park locations and fun ideas.

I recently found a new app I’m loving called Jumprope. I think it is going to be the next big thing, like the next Pinterest!

See below for a microblog on things you must do in Glacier National Park, Montana. These all are in West Glacier National Park. Click here to read my full-length article on 8 amazing things to do in West Glacier and my top 10 tips!

1
Must do hike: Avalanche Lake. The 4.6 mile roundtrip is worth it! It is super popular, so get to the park at or before sunrise to find parking.
The view is breathtaking. Walk along the lake for pictures and peaceful bliss.
2
Drive Going-to-the-Sun Road: this narrow scenic drive is famous for a good reason--the sights are breathtaking! This is a must for any trip.
3
If time permits, go off the beaten path and head out to Bowman Lake. This is a longer drive to a remote part of Glacier past Polebridge.
4
Make sure to stop and photograph Goose Island, which is surrounded by Saint Mary Lake.
5
Here is the peaceful serenity of Bowman Lake, pictured earlier. 😍 The bumpy road here is so worth it!
6
Step into or photograph McDonald Lake, one of the most iconic and accessible lakes in the park.
You will leave dreaming of all the things you'll do next time. The park is huge and has so much to see with so little time.

  3. Ah all of these views are to die for! I’m so envious of these incredible mountain views! (There aren’t a lot of those around where I’m from!) There is something so picturesque about a mountain landscape. Some of these are so beautiful they look unreal! I want to explore Going-to-the-Sun Road and Bowman Lake because they look so dreamy! Thanks for the great guide!

p.s. We have a Glacier National Park up in Canada too – I have a feeling you would like that as well. 😀

    1. Yes, I can’t wait to see both the closed section of our park in Montana as well as the Canadian half of the park!! It was torture getting the map/guide from the park rangers and seeing all the cool stuff we can’t see right now in Canada! I’m dying to get up to Banff and lots of nearby bucketlist locations there!

  6. May I just say… these photos + videos are absolutely *breathtaking*?? Wow. I actually had never heard of this place before seeing this post, but now I kind of want to visit. Lol! Thanks for sharing! Xx
